Global Giving

We live in a world where trouble seems to be surfacing everywhere we turn.  In addition to providing relief to those whose lives are torn apart by war, Alliance Canada is also providing assistance to those whose lives have been turned upside down by natural disasters. 

As you know, one of the deadliest earthquakes of the last decade struck Turkey and Syria one month ago and our family of churches is looking for ways to bring relief to people in that region.  Our role in disaster response has not typically involved the search and rescue phase - but we are sending funds to some of our workers in Turkey, who are working with local churches in the affected areas, to set up communications and assistance stations.
