Mark 6:14-29

A paralyzed man is brought to Jesus and now he's walking.  A man with a shriveled hand meets Jesus at the synagogue on the Sabbath and he's healed.  A demon-possessed man who has been terrorizing his neighbourhood is set free ... again by Jesus.  People are asking, who is this man called Jesus.  Elijah?  A prophet?  King Herod is terrified by the thought that it might be John the Baptist, come back from the dead.

Why would he think that way?  And what does this tangled story have to say to us ... particularly on Father's Day?
